The death of a skier this morning on Vail Mountain is under investigation, and the Eagle County Sheriff's Department is asking for any information the public might have about what happened.

The 37-year-old man from Missouri has not been named.

He was found on the Berries trail, an advanced terrain, about 10:20 a.m. and rushed to Vail Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

He was wearing a helmet when he was found.
