A Connecticut man injured in a ski accident at Keystone Resort Tuesday died Thursday. According to a press release from the Summit County Coroner, William Emberton, 72, of Stonington, Conn. was found faced down on the expert Geronimo Trail at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Emberton, who was wearing a helmet, suffered a broken neck and brain injury, according to the coroner.
Emberton was transferred to St. Anthony's Hospital in Lakewood, where he died Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
The incident is still under investigation.
