What are your plans for Valentine's Day? Guys, gals, moms, dads, husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, and all you significant others: This is your reprieve, your wake-up call, with a few days left to plan and make it a special day for that special someone in your life! Maybe it's time for a weekend getaway to Mexico or maybe just a trip down the road to Glenwood hot springs.
Too extravagant? Hey, maybe a lunch date at Taco Bell followed up with some great chocolate and a walk on a forest trail. Be creative and have some fun! Or go and visit one of our many great restaurants around the county. Make up your own picnic and go out for a cross-country ski, or find those hidden picnic table on the mountain, around the ski areas.
Or, it may be a co-worker you want to show how much you appreciate. Or all the people you meet everyday who make your life the wonderful life that it is. Look around and find those special people in your life, buy a bag of chocolate instead of that $5 latte. Take a moment share your appreciation for the good they bring into your life — and give a chocolate.
There is still time to sent a card to people in the area and well, cards are perfect way to show you care! Who doesn't like getyting a card with a friendly note. If it arrives a few days late, well, better late then never.
Whatever you do, do something! You will be amazed at the results, as both you and the recipiant will be better for it.
Remember: This is you reminder, so don't miss this opportunity to act. You will be happy you did!
BTW: What does this have to do with real estate any way? My job as a Realtor for the past 20 year goes way beyond the mechanics of real estate transactions (although I have gotten pretty good at it). My job is to be a people person and to help folks with their needs, hopes and dreams in the many aspects of life here in our beautiful Summit County.
So ... what will you do or did you do? Visit/friend me on Facebook and tell your story. I will be looking to see all the creative ideas that made you Valentine's Day special!
