Diversity, the people and world class skiing!Q: What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?Ski, golf, hike, photography ... but I work a lot, seven days a week.Q: How long have you worked in real estate?41 yearsQ: What is your specialty? I specialize in properties only at Copper Mountain.Q: What designations do you have and what does that mean for people with whom you work?I graduated from the University of Denver with a BSBA degree from the business school and with a major in building industry & real estate. Having focused on real estate throughout my 41-year career, people with me profit from my knowledge and experience. I also have a GRI, attained through continuing education courses.Q: What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of what you do?Every transaction involves different personalities. Adapting to the requirements of each is a balancing act.Q: What is the most unique property you've listed or sold?During my 39 years of selling real estate at Copper Mountain, I have sold the entire top floor of the Mountain Plaza building twice to single buyers. During college breaks I worked summers at the Eisenhower/Johnson tunnels during their construction. I opened Carbonate Real Estate Company at Copper Mountain in 1974 and became a member of the Summit Association of Realtors that same year.
