On Thursday, join us for the forth annual Mi Casa Tequila Dinner to benefit Advocates for Victims of Assault. Tickets: $65. The night will begin at 6 with appetizers and a four-course Mexican dinner paired with Milagro tequila. To purchase tickets, go to www.summitadvocates.org or you can purchase at Mi Casa. There will be lots of silent auction items to bid on as well.

Mark your calendars for a celebration of local and seasonal food at Vinny's Euro American Restaurant in Frisco on Thursday. The dinner is a special, one-night-only feature of healthy recipes made with fresh and seasonal ingredients donated by local farmers and community gardens. Breckenridge Ski Patrol is looking for 200 volunteers to participate in its annual gondola evacuation training on Saturday. The training exercise will begin at the base of the BreckConnect gondola at 9 a.m. and conclude around noon. The ski patrol will provide coffee and donuts in the morning with an open discussion opportunity and lunch at the One Ski Hill Grill following the training. This exercise is a great way to educate the public on the ski patrol's safety-response techniques in the event a gondola evacuation is needed. All ski patrol members have previously acquired the necessary skills to safely conduct an evacuation. If interested in participating, contact Duke Barlow, dbarlow@vailresorts.com or (970) 453-5000 by Thursday, Oct. 4.
