As the election season gets into high gear, negative ads and comments abound from the two parties. Unfortunately, this negativity and partisan politics extends to the Legislature after the election. District 61 voters have a strong alternative to the partisan status quo in unaffiliated candidate Kathleen Curry. Kathleen understands how things work in Denver. She is the former Speaker Pro Tem of the Statehouse and was chair of the House ag. committee. Her knowledge of state water and oil and gas issues is widely recognized across party lines. Being unaffiliated means Kathleen is not beholden to either party's demands and can honestly represent the voters in her district. I urge a vote for Kathleen Curry for the Colorado Legislature.
