Thanks for Ryan's Recovery

The Summit County Sheriff's Office and the Dillon Ranger District would like to thank Ryan's Recovery for their assistance in removing an abandoned vehicle from the Warden Gulch Trail area near Peru Creek. This vehicle had been basically stripped, and had been sitting there since mid-2010, potentially leaking oil and other contaminates into the environment.

Because of the remote location and rugged terrain, we contacted Ryan's Recovery for their assistance. Not only was Ryan's willing to help, they donated approximately $1500 in time, equipment and expertise to remove this abandoned vehicle from its near-treeline location.

It took an incredible amount of manpower, equipment and coordination to accomplish the removal. The Summit County Sheriff's Office and Dillon Ranger District would like to publicly thank Ryan's Recovery for their generosity and service to the community. Sincerely,

John G. Minor, Sheriff

Jan Cutts, District Ranger
