The Mighty Yates Bro's bring hip-hop and more to The Motherloaded Saturday

The Mighty Yates Bro's and Jeff "Blaze" Addams bring "blues, rock and hip-hop" to The Motherloaded Tavern, 103 S. Main St. in Breck on Saturday.

The Denver and Colorado Springs-based act features cousins James and Chris Yates on turntables, keyboard and vocals, with guitarist Addams on a Gibson Les Paul.

Showgoers can expect "high-energy and acid blues guitar tones," according to Addams, who finds inspiration in Jimi Hendrix and cites "drinking beer always" as the band's latest project.

In contrast, James Yates finds inspiration in family, and cites the band's current project as "gigging." "We play music everyone likes to dance to all night long," James said.

Chris promises "a mind-blowing show" Saturday, inspired by "the love of hip-hop."

The Mighty Yates Bro's plays primarily original tunes with some covers interspersed. The show kicks off at 10 p.m. and there's no cover.
