Bottled Violence to thrash the Moose Jaw in Frisco

Bottled Violence returns to wreak havoc upon the Moose Jaw in Frisco on Halloween again this year, providing relief from "too many jam bands, not enough super loud thrash," said vocalist and drummer/guitarist Richard Rapp.

The hardcore/punk/thrash band - made up of Rapp with fellow locals Chris Crawford (bass), Pat Dvorak (vocals) and James Dickinson (drums) - once toured the High Country extensively, but now plays but one "awesome" show per year.

"We are the most ripping band in the county - loud and fast," Rapp said. "We have bigger amps than most people." The group is currently at work on a double live DVD/CD release.

Halloween at the Moose Jaw opens with rock 'n' roll covers by Andy Held's band, Richard Taters, so "there will be a good mix of music that everyone will like," Rapp said.

The 9 p.m. show is free and there are prizes for the best costumes.
