Outlets at Silverthorne gear up for Black Friday

Stores at the Outlets at Silverthorne will be closed during the day today. Their doors will open at 9 tonight and stay open for the next 24 hours in the Moonlight Madness event. From 11 a.m. to 5 a.m. there will be hourly giveaways, with the first 100 people in line getting entry tickets. The grand prize of a $1,000 outlet shopping spree is enter-to-win and shoppers must be present at 4 a.m. to qualify.

"We'll see thousands of people that day," said Meredith Long, public relations manager at the outlets.

Sales will continue from Moonlight Madness to Black Friday sales from 9 a.m. Friday to 9 p.m. For Thanksgiving weekend sales, the Outlets will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Shoppers interested in the Outlets' extended holidays hours should check the website for details at www.outletsatsilverthorne.com.
