Protection order issued against ex-ski instructor

ASPEN - A judge has issued a temporary protection order that prevents a former Aspen Skiing Co. instructor from coming within 100 yards of company-owned property and the residences of its CEO and corporate owners.

The company sought the order after Lee Mulcahy of Aspen allegedly parked a trailer that held hand-painted signs criticizing company officials in front of the company's Aspen headquarters.

Mulcahy has had a long-running battle with the company after he was fired for protesting the company's pay for beginning instructors.

According to the Aspen Daily News (http://bit.ly/Rg9Dtf),t he company maintains he was dismissed for work-performance issues unrelated to the pay dispute.
