timeforcake: Kick your bad snoozing habit with the Sleep If You Can app

Genius, right here, everyone.

This brilliant you'll-love-it-and-you'll-hate-it alarm clock app for Android will not play the snooze game with you. Instead, when the alarm sounds, your phone displays a photo you previously took of something in your house.

And guess what? You're in luck, because the alarm won't turn off until you get out of bed and take another picture of that very same scene or object.

For any Android users out there trying to kick a bad snoozing habit, check out the Sleep If You Can app here: http://tinyurl.com/bahca96

1. http://tinyurl.com/axm4o96 - Your next car key may just be your next smartphone. Makes sense to me.

2. http://tinyurl.com/awf7lyl - Few things are more important in the world of technology than high-tech toasters. We're talking about a world filled with sophisticated sensors and fancy controls. Take a look at four super-toasters that stand heads and shoulders above your kitchen's oh-so-ordinary model.

3. http://www.persuasivegames.com/about/ - Persuasive Games builds games with a core agenda in mind: to penetrate the minds of their players and get them thinking about important subject matter. Example 1: A game targeted at college students that focuses on savings and debt. Example 2: Fatworld, which tackles "the relationships between obesity, nutrition and socioeconomics." Yes, you're learning, but it's fun. Because it's a game.

4. http://tinyurl.com/aay7pvn - Love dogs? Love bikes? Take a look at these photos and video of artist Nirit Levav Packer's impressive bicycle chain dog sculptures. There's also a link to her official website in this post, if you'd like to see a full gallery of her sculptures.

5. www.codecademy.com - Have you dreamed of learning to write code, create computer programs, build websites from scratch or impress your friends with custom apps for their mobile devices? I'm guessing you answered "No." And that's totally fine. Heads up: don't visit this link. For the few of you who answered "Yes!" or "Hmmm. Maybe. Why?," Code Academy offers free online classes for learning to read and write code, along with tons of lessons covering a slew of coding languages (Java, HTML, CSS, Python and many more). Yes, free.

6. http://tinyurl.com/29gl9q - Technology at its purest and finest. This YouTube video introduces you to The Hawaii chair. Why didn't I know about this until last year? Where have I been? Why did no one tell me about this before? And most importantly, who's going to buy two for my birthday so I can use one during client meetings and entertain myself by regifting the other to an unsuspecting friend?
