Peter and Lindsey Stapay tied the knot earlier this month at their home in "The Kingdom." They had this to say about the event: "Peter and Lindsey Stapay are thrilled to announce their marriage Feb. 2 in their home in Breckenridge. A reception proceeded at Allaire Timbers Lodge where they danced the night away with friends and family. Peter and Lindsey actually met at Ullr Festival in 2007 at the once-known Horseshoe 2 that is now Modis.2007 was a year of firsts:> First of now six trips toKauai, Hawaii. Peter introduced Lindsey to one of the most magical places in the world that only a dragon could have come to live and rock stars sing about those seven bridges to get there,> First of five trips thus far to Lindsey's childhood vacation spots in Idaho to learn what it takes to be a little country, and> Peter also shared his childhood vacation spot in Minnesota where he played cowboy to only find himself in cowboy country of Colorado.Some of their most memorable adventures have been:> Peter officiating Dean and Peyton Rogers' wedding at the Riverwalk Center amphitheater,> Throwing a New Year's Eve party then Oktoberfest party in their home,> Halloween party during the Rockies World Series in Denver,> Water skiing on the lakes of Minnesota,With less than seven days notice set off to South America - Buenos Aires then across the country to meet the U.S. ambassador to Chile in Santiago,> First Christmas with their new nephew Quinton in Steamboat, and> Heading north to the border for an amazing lake camp spot in northern Idaho. The couple wanted to extend the warmest amount of thanks to the many community members that helped them pull their special day together: Cindy at Bloom, Scott & Jillian at Embers, Kevin at Tents & Events, Jen at Allaire Timbers, Ann Ojennes for officiating and Rae Anderson for being their back-up!"
