Interstate 70 will close completely in both directions from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Tuesday while crews are relocating an overhead electrical wire near Exit 116 at Glenwood Springs, west of Summit County, according to a statement from Colorado Department of Transportation.
A single lane will be closed in each direction in the same area from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. the same day. Just before 11 a.m. a flagger will bring traffic to a stop.
The closure will allow crews to move an electrical wire being supported by a roadway light. The roadway light is schedule to be moved at a later date as part of an ongoing CDOT maintenance project.
