The 2013 Seedling Trees for Conservation program is wrapping up for the season. Seedlings are grown at the Colorado State Forest Service Nursery in Fort Collins and are made available to Summit County property owners through the Colorado State University Extension office in Frisco.
Orders for seedlings must be received by the office on or before Friday. Seedlings will be delivered to Frisco for pick-up on May 1 and 2.

High Country Conservation Center and Colorado Mountain College are proud to present the 2013 Master Mountain Composter Program. Starting Tuesday through April 25, MMC classes will run from 5:30-7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the CMC campus in Breckenridge. Applications are now available at www.highcountry

Saturday, 8-9:30 a.m. - Pancake Breakfast, Copper Mountain Metro District building. Cost: $10 per person, can pre-register or pay at breakfast.
Saturday, 1-2 p.m. - NASTAR Race - Benefit participants will be able to fill out a card at registration; Racers will then turn in their registration card at the shack and get a bib there. NASTAR donations are $10 for two runs, $17 Unlimited, or $6 for one run.
Saturday, 5-10 p.m. - Silent Auction and Dinner at Copper Station's Grand Hall. Cost: $45 in advance, $55 day of, based on availability.
Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Skiing and riding on your own.
