Phix celebrates Phish
On Thursday, Oct. 3, the group Phix will celebrate its love of the music of Phish. Phix started with four guys who lived in and around Boulder. They were, and still are, all big Phish fans and thought it would be cool (and fun and challenging) to try and recreate the era where Phish played epic shows in smaller theaters for low ticket prices. What started as just some guys having some fun and sharing it with those who were interested has turned into an amazing experience for all involved. Some of the members of Phix also play in Dead Phish Orchestra and Great American Taxi. Cost for the show is $8 in advance and $10 at the door, with more information to be found at www.three20south.com. Doors at 9 p.m., music about 10 p.m.
