Stereo Clone rocks the Snake in Keystone

Denver cover band Stereo Clone will play the Snake River Saloon in Keystone on Friday, Jan. 30, and Saturday, Jan. 31. The band — Matt Lomax on lead vocals, Joey Lowe on percussion, Pat Searcy on guitar and Jon Current on bass — rocks the music of the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and present. Stereo Clone plays a broad mix of rock ranging from Stone Temple Pilots to Stevie Wonder, Red Hot Chili Peppers to Led Zeppelin, plus Guns N’ Roses, Lenny Kravitz, The Killers, Maroon 5 and more. Apres music with Swing Crew at Keystone

The Swing Crew continues its winter stand at Keystone’s Last Lift Bar in the Mountain House Base Area, with après shows on Friday, Jan. 30, and Saturday, Jan. 31. Fun is the bottom line with this interactive, acoustic band. The shows feature a wide variety of music, audience participation, jokes, stunts, cornball humor and toasts. Monastic, bombastic beats in Breck

Just Swipe Right, aka Two Dudes, will bring the best of rock, blues, country and hip-hop to the MotherLoaded Tavern on Friday, Jan. 30. Drew and Brett claim they were born in a Himalayan monastery in the ’80s. They lived the monastic lifestyle until hearing “Van Halen I” in their tweens, when they then hit the road to “shred insane and blow the doors off.” This show will be the duo’s big ramp-up of the season in Breckenridge. Fire Arts Festival features live music

Krooked Drivers will perform at the Thaw Lounge in the Riverwalk Center on Friday, Jan. 30, as part of the BreckCreate Fire Arts Festival. Krooked Drivers is an electronic hip-hop duo consisting of Donny D’albora and Maddy O’Neal based in Denver. Juba Juba celebrates 50 years of The Grateful Dead at The Goat in Keystone on Saturday, Jan. 31. Juba Juba performs original interpretations of Grateful Dead music, meshing new and original grooves with classic Grateful Dead songs. Juba Juba is an all-star band composed of members of Denver-area Grateful Dead tribute bands including Ship of Fools, Hollow Bones, The Pranksters and August West Band. The Yawpers at Breck Riverwalk Center

The BreckCreate Fire Arts Festival continues on Saturday, Jan. 31, with a performance from The Yawpers at the Thaw Lounge in the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center. The Yawpers are a stripped-down, brazen rock ’n’ roll band from Colorado, accompanied by overdriven acoustic guitars and a trap kit. The group has created a sound that is equal parts frenetic, earnest and menacing, all while bringing together disparate pieces of the American musical lexicon. Post-Super Bowl party in Breck

Dave Gerard, with special guest Moose on harp and vocals, will play a post-Super Bowl show at the MotherLoaded Tavern in Breckenridge on Sunday, Feb. 1. On any given night, a DG show is gentle, raucous and eclectic but always honest. His soulful style of contemporary roots music and from-the-core songwriting has earned him many awards. Start the week at Blue River Bistro on Sunday, Feb. 1, with free live music from guitar and vocalist Rob Wivchar. Mark Schlaefer brings his delta blues to the Blue River Bistro on Monday, Feb. 2, and Wednesday, Feb. 4. Schlaefer writes personal acoustic blues about his life in the Colorado High Country. “Even though these songs were written above 9,000 feet, they still sound firmly rooted in delta mud,” the artist said of his album, “The Sweet Honey Mead,” released in 2002. “Dressed in plain spoken words, that sound cuts to the core of the human experience and reveals the indomitability of our souls.” The music runs from 5 to 10 p.m. both nights, and there’s no cover. New Mastersounds cross the pond to Frisco

The New Mastersounds will play The Barkley Ballroom in Frisco on Thursday, Feb. 5. England’s New Mastersounds are one of the top live touring acts, a quartet that plays high-energy funk. The band’s recorded catalog boasts 24 singles, eight studio albums, two live albums, one remix album and three compilation albums, released variously in UK, United States and Japan, where they continue to tour extensively. Chicago-based band The Heard gets the night going at 9:30 p.m. Doors open at 9 p.m., and tickets are $15 in advance or $18 the day of the show. Twin bill for Fire Arts Festival in Breck

The Breckenridge Fire Arts Festival continues on Thursday, Feb. 5, with music from Cody Crump and Mark’s Midnight Carnival Show. Crump is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who combines sensitive lyrics with high-powered electronics. Mark’s Midnight Carnival Show is an indie rock band from Colorado. They write, perform, record and release original music, drawing from a diverse list of influences that crosses over multiple genres.
