What goods do you make here in Summit County? How much do they cost? I make small-batch aromatic glycerin soaps, lotions, hand creams, soy candles, bath scrubs, bath salts and other bath and body products. My prices range from $3 to $15 for individual items. I also can put together a gift basket, box or bag with a variety of items. I use many natural ingredients in my products, including high emollients (butters and carrier oils) and essential oils (aromatherapy).
What’s great about making your products here? We live in a great community. I am thankful to be able to make my small-batch products out of my home in Summit County. Our community works hard, plays hard and understands that it is important to enjoy our surroundings. At Colorado Soap Works, we strive to bring you luxurious, one-of-a-kind products that enhance everyday rituals.
What’s new with your company or product? Each year, I try to add new products and stay in the know with current trends. I can specialize products for businesses or individuals. I can do special-order items based upon your needs, such as items for wedding showers, baby showers, holiday gifts, etc.
Why do you think it’s important for people in Summit County to buy locally made goods? It helps our local economy and supports locals. It’s also nice to receive a handmade gift that is made locally.
How can people find out more about your products? You can visit my website at www.coloradosoapworks.com. I attend local craft shows and home parties. If you are interested in seeing my products, I will be at the Holiday Bazaar at the Silverthorne Pavilion on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
