Chef Michael Halpin returns to Hearthstone
After a year in Steamboat, executive chef Michael Halpin is back in the Hearthstone kitchen. He’s created a new summer appetizer to pair with the restaurant’s new selection of summer wines on the decks: Colorado cherry and fig flatbread, with Buena Vista Colorado goat cheese, Colorado lamb bacon and fresh basil.
New wines by the glass include Arindo, a crisp verdejo from Spain; and a pinot gris from California’s J Vineyards. New reds being featured are the rich and fruity Talbott Sleepy Hollow pinot noir from California and a new Syrah from the Cotes-du-Rhone in France, Saint Cosme. If wine isn’t your thing, go for the new sandia martini with fresh-pressed watermelon mashed every day at the restaurant, Sauza Hornitos tequila and an ancho sugar rim.

30 percent off rolls at Mountain Flying Fish
Mountain Flying Fish Sushi Bar and Asian Kitchen is offering 30 percent off all rolls between now and June 27. Try a California roll with real snow crab, cucumber and avocado or the Volcano roll with cucumber, avocado and scallions wrapped in soy paper with chopped spicy tuna on top.

Brewmaster’s dinner at Dillon Dam
To kick off the Lake Dillon Brew Festival, the Dillon Dam Brewery is throwing a Brewmaster’s Dinner tonight, featuring unique beer and food pairings created by brewmaster Cory Forster and chef Jerame Maes. The dinner features five courses of carefully prepared food to match Dillon Dam seasonal and specialty beers.
Food creations include locally produced cheeses and meats, and Forster and Maes will introduce all of the pairings and answer guest questions throughout the evening. Tickets are $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The brewery is also offering a $6.95 bar lunch special or 15 percent off lunch through Friday and 30 percent off the pub dinner menu today only.

Wine and a massage at D’Vine Wine
D’Vine Wine on Main Street in Breckenridge hosts Music, Massage & Merlot every Friday and Saturday night. Pete Baldwin (aka Naked Pete) presents his own original style of piano entertainment from 6 to 9 p.m., with $5 glasses of wine and $1 per minute chair massages.
The boutique winery also has a daily Colorado wine tasting, where attendees can sample Colorado-made wines and create their own wines. A fee of $5 to $12 yields three to seven wines per flight, and you get to keep the souvenir glass.
