On The Hill: Running of the Bulls, a banked slalom months in the making (video)

On The Hill is brought to you by The Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute.

VIDEO: The day has come for the first-ever Running of the Bulls Banked Slalom, held on the Carter Park switchbacks just minutes from downtown Breckenridge. Z Griff and crew scope the course a few weeks before the first snowfall to prepare for the first (of hopefully many) events. Breck, welcome your banked slalom.

Breckenridge official report: 0″, 1″, 2″

Summit Daily field report: Beautiful, blue Colorado day out there. Perfect weather for the Running of the Bulls Banked Slalom at Carter Park. Head out anytime until dark — it’s free to the public!

Weather: High 18 F, low 8 F. Sunny.

Lift lines: Should be pretty decent out there today in terms of lines but whenever the sun and warm comes out so do the people.
