Floorspace will play Goat Tavern on Friday, Nov. 27. Summit county local band leaders Dewey Paul Moffitt and John Truscelli merge their bands for the debut of an all-star Americana project featuring Angie Janzen and Jessica Rose Moidel. Rachel & the Ruckus play two-night run at the Snake



Rachel & the Ruckus will play two nights in Keystone at the Snake River Saloon on Friday, Nov. 27 and Saturday, Nov. 28. Singer/keyboardist Rachel Alena and guitarist Alec Sims met in 2010 while playing together in a popular Colorado R&B band. They quickly discovered a songwriting chemistry and formed R&R shortly thereafter. Alec, a published author born in Townsend, Massachusetts, has been playing professionally since the ’80s in a variety of high-energy blues and funk bands. Boulder-based drummer Kyle Comerford joined in 2012. Kyle’s colorful musical journey began playing at such famous L.A. haunts as the Roxie and the Troubadour and evolved to touring with some acclaimed national acts including backing Carly Simon. Bassist Vince Carmellini came on board to round out the group in 2013. Vince is multi-instrumentalist whose work is featured on a couple of chart topping albums. Grateful Dead music at the Goat

Juba Juba! performs original interpretations of Grateful Dead music, meshing new and original grooves with classic Grateful Dead songs at Goat Tavern on Saturday, Nov. 28. Juba Juba! recently toured Colorado with special guest, Melvin Seals of the Jerry Garcia Band. Juba Juba! is an all star band composed of members of Denver area Grateful Dead Tribute bands including, Ship of Fools, Hollow Bones, The Pranksters, and August West Band. Frisco Funk Collective play Summit Food Bank benefit

Whole Foods, The Barkley Ballroom, Frisco Funk Collective and Odell Brewing Company are teaming up to raise money for The Summit Food Bank and FIRC. New local band plays second show in Dillon

Zuma Road will play at the Lake Dillon Tavern on Saturday, Sept. 28. Zuma Road is a new local band formed in September featuring longtime locals Ryan Emmett on guitar, Dan Brewer on bass and vocals, Molly Brown on vocals, Pat Fitzgerald on drums and Max Parson on piano. The band will play a mix of original music and funky covers.

WhiteWater Ramble plays music of Paul Simon

On Wednesday, Dec. 2, WhiteWater Ramble plays the music of Paul Simon at The Barkley Ballroom in Frisco. Described as High-Octane Rocky Mountain DanceGrass, Whitewater Ramble uses a simple recipe to craft its sound: Start with bluegrass instrumentation, add drums, and finish with a boundary-less approach to grassing-up everything from disco house grooves to roots to Americana. Randall McKinnon will play Next Page Books & Nosh’s Winter Living Room Concert on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 4:30 p.m. An interesting life journey from minister and social worker to full-time musician has provided Randall with experiences which allow him to establish a powerful rapport with his audience. The Workshy plays free show at Barkley

The Barkley Ballroom hosts The Workshy for a free show on Thursday, Dec. 3. The Workshy, is an eclectic six-piece funk group based out of the Denver area, that provides an incredibly energetic live show by pulling influences from jazz, blues, funk and more to create an infectious blend of music. With members from L.A, Washington, New York, Iowa and South Korea, The Workshy is able to create a sound that is unique as their roots. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
