Two nights of modern country, rock music in Keystone



Swerve will play two nights at the Snake River Saloon in Keystone on Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5. Swerve is a professional, working cover band based in Denver, performing rock, classic rock and modern country, as well as a variety of other material. The band has performed on large and small stages at bars, festivals and private events. Its stage show and set list are diverse enough to entertain people of all ages and backgrounds. EDM in Frisco



MIMOSA will be at The Barkley Ballroom in Frisco, with Artifakts opening. Founder of FALSE iDOL MUZiK and the FUTURE TRiLL movement, MIMOSA has made a name for himself as one of the underground pioneers of the west coast EDM sound. Grateful Dead tribute in Keystone

The Dead Zone will play Goat Tavern on Saturday, March 5. Dead Zone is a Colorado-based Grateful Dead tribute featuring members of Shakedown Street, Dark Star Orchestra and Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead review. Progressive bluegrass in Frisco

Hot Buttered Rum will play The Barkley Ballroom on Saturday, March 5. Hot Buttered Rum lives for a good time. The group’s onstage chemistry fuels the lovefest that is a live HBR show. A mindful recklessness settles in whenever these five guys step out of their front doors in northern California to entertain crowds from Anchorage to Miami. Bonfire Dub opens the show. Bookstore hosts Keelan Donovan

Next Page Books & Nosh in Frisco welcomes back singer/songwriter Keelan Donovan. Keelan Donovan, now finding his bearings in Nashville, Tennessee, writes songs that are able to captivate fans of all ages. Keelan writes with a depth beyond his years without pining like a man 30 years his senior. Music is from 4:30–6:30 p.m.

All three are residents of Summit County who formed the band with the purpose of providing roots and Americana music with a funky twist. Skydyed plays in Frisco

The Barkley Ballroom hosts Skydyed on Thursday, March 10. Emerging from Fort Collins, Skydyed is a three-piece band that blends cutting edge electronic production with live instrumentation. Doors open for the free show at 8:30 p.m.

John Statz Band at Dillon Dam Brewery

Singer songwriter John Statz from Denver performs original folk and Americana. Band member Jeffrey Foucault says “John Statz writes songs you can’t shake. They follow you around all day and run through your head at 3 a.m.” Music starts at 9:30 p.m., and there is a $5 cover. Call (970) 262-7777.
