Tauk

Keystone, Feb. 9

9 p.m., The Goat Soup & Whiskey Tavern, 22954 U.S. Highway 6, Keystone. Meet Tauk, a band that delivers a unique blend of rock-fusion with a fresh experimental spirit. Since forming earlier this decade, the NYC-based group has built an impressive DIY buzz scoring opening gigs for MOE., Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Tea Leaf Green, and sets at Gathering of the Vibes, Hangout Music Fest, Peach Festival with The Allman Brothers and Bonnaroo. Most recently, the band announced upcoming gigs at Summer Camp Music Fest and FloydFest this year.

First Sundays Cabaret presents ‘Lone Star Kid’

From the folksongs of the early ‘roots’ era to the music of pop icons Fats Domino and Elvis to tunes from the American Songbook to Broadway’s biggest hit scores, this cabaret concert guarantees a little southern charm and a lot of musical fun.

Summit Ski Exhibit

Breckenridge, Feb. 9, & 11

11 a.m., Breckenridge Hertiage Alliance, 203 S. Main St., Breckenridge. Celebrate the first 100 years of skiing in Summit County with a ski documentary and vintage equipment and clothing. This exhibit is a colorful look into the history of skiing. Free admission, donations appreciated. Call (970) 453-9767.

Historic Walking Tour of Breck

Breckenridge, Feb. 9

11 a.m. & 1:30 p.m., Breckenridge Welcome Center, 203 S. Main St., Breckenridge. Take a tour through Breckenridge’s Nationally Recognized Historic District with a local expert. Along the way, hear stories about the hardy souls who lived in Breckenridge more than 100 years ago. Reservations not required, call for pricing. Call (970) 453-9767 x2. Tours start at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., tickets are $10 adults, $5 children (age 4-12).
