Strap In For Life Launch Party Featuring Juvenile

Breckenridge, Feb. 28

9 p.m., Cecilias, 520 South Main St. Join Strap In For Life for a launch fundraiser with thousands of dollars in raffle prizes. Come help support a new local 501c3 non profit in helping those affected by cancer experience snowboard culture on the mountain and beyond. Stargazing Snowshoe at Angler Mountain

Silverthorne, Feb. 28

6 p.m., Angler Mountain Trail, 502 Bald Eagle Rd. Get bundled up and come out for an evening snowshoe under the stars on Silverthorne’s local trail, Angler Mountain. After the snowshoe gather around the fire and warming hut at North Pond Park for warm beverages and treats.

Ladies 80’s Party with DJ RAD

Frisco, Feb. 28

10 p.m., Jonny-G’s Bar, Nightclub & Pizzeria, 409 Main St. All 80’s all night with special guest DJ RAD playing all the best from the 80’s (mostly 1 hit wonders) Throwback prices, too. Ladies drink $1 wells ($2 for the fellas) and $3 Fireballs.

Fireman’s Fire Hose Relay

Arapahoe Basin, Feb. 28

Fire departments from across Colorado team up to participate in a unique slalom-style event. Teams of five firefighters race down a 15-gate slalom course while holding on to 50 feet of fire hose. And you can’t miss them - all participants have to dress in their bunker jacket and fire helmet. So come out to cheer on these awesome men and women as they raise money to benefit the Burn Camps Program at The Children’s Hospital of Colorado.

USSA U-18 Championships

Arapahoe Basin, Feb. 28

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association’s (USSA) under-18 slalom competition.
