Grand opening of Roaring Fork Beer Co. in Carbondale
The Roaring Fork Beer Co., will celebrate its Grand Opening with two sessions over two days, Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29, and its trademarked Freestone Extra Pale Ale, Nitro Pub Ale and seasonally inspired one-off batches. The full production brewery and tasting room is located less than one mile southeast of downtown Carbondale at 1941 Dolores Way, near Carbondale’s Park and Ride and Ajax Bike and Sport.
Only a few tickets for Saturday’s session remain and can be purchased in advance at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/601120. A barbecue pig roast and eats provided by Mark Hardin, of Craft Catering, and a commemorative glass with bottomless beer tastings are included in the $30 ticket. A ribbon cutting will be held Friday, March 28, at the tasting room at 4 p.m. to kick off the Grand Opening, with sessions running Friday from 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Raffles will be held each night for a chance to win special items such as a custom Roaring Fork Beer Co., skateboard handcrafted by Meier Ski’s, a seasonal membership to the brewery and a keg. Food Network now casting for kids’ reality show
Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri are back for battle and are in search of the most talented kid chefs in the country for Season 2 of “Rachael vs. Guy: Kids Cook-Off,” Food Network’s culinary reality series. The show is looking for children with captivating personalities who believe they’re at the top of their culinary game and want to inspire a Food Network audience through their passion for food and cooking. The winner will receive a grand prize that will help to kick-start their culinary career.
