Breckenridge Spring Fever Festival

Breckenridge, March 26 to April 27

8:30 a.m., Breckenridge Ski Resort, Peak 8 Base Area, T- Bar Restaurant, 1599 Ski Hill Rd. The biggest spring party in the Rocky Mountains is back. Breckenridge Ski Resort’s annual ‘Spring Fever’ month-long festival will again return to Breck to end ski season with a bang, and will feature a series of events both on the mountain and in town.

Summit County Garden Club Kickoff Meeting

Frisco, March 26

5:30 p.m., Frisco County Commons Building, 37 Summit County Rd. Current and prospective members welcome. Meet in the Mount Royal Room. Lite refreshments will be served. Please RSVP Lynn (970) 468-6640.

Breckenridge Ascent Race #4

Breckenridge, March 26

5:30 p.m., Breckenridge Ski Resort, Peak 10, 620 Village Rd. Presented by Breckenridge Ski Resort and the Breckenridge Recreation Department. Race #4 begins at the Peak 10 base. Use any means to get up the mountain whether it be snowshoes, nordic skis or AT setups. However, skis or a snowboard are required to come back down. Same-day registration is in the Beaver Run Parking Lot starting at 4:45 p.m. for $25. $20 pre-registration.

USASA Nationals

Copper Mountain, March 26

All Day, Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. The United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association National Championships is the largest snowboard and free skiing event on the earth welcoming top athletes from around the nation to compete for the title of National Champion.

Giving Tree Band

Frisco, March 26

9 p.m., Barkley Ballroom, 610 Main St. A Midwest bluegrass explosion as Chicago’s Giving Tree Band and Madison’s Evergreen Grass Band play a full night of music. Free show.
