11:30 a.m., Keystone Science School Campus, 1053 Soda Ridge Road. Join some camp staff and other Colorado families for activities, a delicious free lunch, and information on summer programs.

The Summit Foundation Cup

Frisco, April 6

3 p.m., Frisco Adventure Park, 621 Recreation Way. From ‘never ever’ to seasoned racer, all levels are invited to compete in this free race at the Frisco Adventure Park ski and ride hill. The race is generally geared towards kids between the ages of 5 & 12, but all ages are welcome, and friendly competition between parents, siblings and friends is encouraged. The race is free, and race registration is open from 3-4 p.m. inside the Frisco Adventure Park Day Lodge.

Kids Canvas Painting Parties

Keystone, April 6

4 p.m., ReadyPaintFire!, 135 Dercum Square. Fun weekly paintings step-by-step with a ReadyPaintFire artist -skating penguins, funny foxes and purple moose.

Historic Walking Tour of Breck

Breckenridge, April 6

11 a.m. & 1:30 p.m., Breckenridge Welcome Center, 203 S. Main St. Take a tour through Breckenridge’s Nationally Recognized Historic District with a local expert. Along the way, hear stories about the hardy souls who lived in Breckenridge more than 100 years ago. Reservations not required, call (970) 453-9767 x2. Tickets are $10 adults, $5 children (age 4-12).

USASA Nationals

Copper Mountain, April 6-9

All Day, Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. The United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association National Championships is the largest snowboard and free skiing event on the earth welcoming top athletes from around the nation to compete for the title of National Champion.
