Frisco officials are accepting letters of interest to fill a vacancy on the town’s planning commission.
The planning commission, which meets at 5 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month, reviews development projects and makes recommendations to the Frisco Town Council about land use issues.
“Serving on the planning commission is a great opportunity for a community member looking to contribute to help shape Frisco’s future,” said Frisco Community Development director Jocelyn Mills. “The planning commission is directly responsible for making decisions on land development applications and overseeing updates to the zoning codes, which provide both use and architectural regulations for all development in Frisco.”
To be eligible for the volunteer position, applicants must live within Frisco town limits.
Letters of interest, with a statement of relevant qualifications, are being accepted until 5 p.m. Friday, April 11. Letters can be sent to the town of Frisco, Community Development Department, P.O. Box 4100, Frisco, CO 80443 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
