3 Ring Weekend

Copper Mountain, July 5 & 6

10 a.m., Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. A free family event featuring music, fireworks, a conscious carnival, ‘Primp my Ride’ kid-powered parade and hands-on activities designed to educate and entertain. And headlining on the 3 Ring Weekend Stage is Nickelodeon’s own Max Schneider. Max stars on NBC’s Crisis, and his hit song Mug Shot just debuted in this spring’s movie release of Veronica Mars.

Frisco Founders Day Celebration

Frisco, July 5

10 a.m., Frisco Historic Park & Museum, 1 Main St. Experience Frisco’s Heritage at the Frisco Historic Park & Museum and celebrate the Town’s history. This event features simulated gold panning, live burro rides, costumed reenactments, interpretive tours, refreshments and wonderful live music in the gazebo. (800) 424-1554.

Climb to Glory

7 p.m., The Breckenridge Backstage Theatre, 121 Ridge St. At the CMC Auditorium. Following on the unprecedented success of its original play The 10th, The Backstage will screen the Warren Miller documentary about the 10th Mountain Division, Climb to Glory, to help celebrate the nation’s birthday over the Fourth of July weekend.
