Frisco Adventure Park offering free family nights through July

On Tuesdays through the end of July, the Frisco Adventure Park offers free Frisco Family Fun Nights.

From 5 to 8 p.m. on July 15, 22 and 29, families are invited to check out the Adventure Park for an evening of fun and exploration. Each week, park staffers will highlight a different park amenity, with the Adventure Park Day Lodge serving as the base for activities.

For the first Family Fun Night on Tuesday, July 15, the Adventure Park will show the Disney movie “Frozen.”

“When I found out that the film this Tuesday would be “Frozen,” I was fully aware that we would have a lot of happy kids,” said Vanessa Agee, Frisco marketing and communications director, in a news release. “I must confess that my daughter forces me — I mean, invites me — to listen to the ‘Frozen’ soundtrack almost every morning, so I know that this will be a great draw to get families to check out the best family happy hour in Summit County.”

In addition to seeing the movie, visitors can explore the Frisco peninsula’s trails on foot or by bike right out the back door of the park’s lodge, challenge their siblings to a race on the dual slalom course, ride the mini pump track and skills course at the bike park, check out the disc golf course, run around the fields with a soccer ball or hang out with friends at the skate park.

Spinelli’s Pizza and Subs will have pizza available for sale from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Beverages will be available for sale throughout the evening.

For information, call the Frisco Adventure Park at 668-2558.
