Courage Classic

Copper Mountain, July 20

All Day, Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle. A renowned cycling event in Colorado, the 24th annual Courage Classic returns to Copper this summer for a three-day journey fueled by individual and team fundraising efforts that benefit The Children’s Hospital Colorado. The course begins and ends in Copper Mountian, where picturesque views will motivate riders’ 157-mile trek through Summit County.Free live music Rob Drabkin Friday night and Funky Johnson Saturday night.

Frank Baum came to write ‘The Wizard of Oz.’ At forty-four years old, Baum is a ‘jack of all trades’ and a master of none - his latest work has no title and no ending! Like the cyclone in his story, Baum’s housekeeper and a little runaway named Dot get swept up into the mad vortex of his tale, as Baum enlists them to help him improvise his story. (970) 453-0199.

Sweet Charity, A Musical Comedy

With a classic score by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields, and a hilarious but moving book by Neil Simon, Sweet Charity is one woman’s singing and dancing-infused story of searching for her self in an ironic and cynical 1960s New York. National Repertory Orchestra presents the Music of Brahms
