NRO presents the music of ‘Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Adams’

Adams Ave. The National Repertory Orchestra, along with William Eddins, guest conductor, will present Mozart - Piano Concerto No. 17., Tchaikovsky - Romeo & Juliet, Respighi - Fountains of Rome, and Adams - Short Ride in a Fast Machine. $25-$40, $7/youth 18 & under.

9:30 p.m., Barkley Ballroom, 610 Main St. Rowdy bluegrass band from Nederland. Free show.

Guided Nature Hike

Frisco, July 23

9:30 a.m., Frisco Day Lodge, 621 Recreation Way. Hike with others and learn more about the Peninsula Recreation Area flora and fauna while enjoying spectacular scenery. Hike is easy to moderate in ability and will be 2 hours in duration. Reservations are required by calling (970) 668-2558. $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Pets welcome on leash.

Summit Trail Running Series Race #4

Breckenridge, July 23

6 p.m., Breckenridge Recreation Center, 880 Airport Road. Explore the trails out of the Gold Run Road Trailhead. Race #4 is Flumes/Tom’s Baby with a 7K short course and an 11K long course. Individual Race registration: Age 19 & up $20 - Preregistration, $25 - Day-of registration. Age 18 & under $5 per race - Registration and parent/guardian signed waiver required.

Summer Wednesday Historic Lunchtime Lecture Series

Frisco, July 23
