Charity golf tournament benefits STEM program
The second annual Summit County IT Open is a charitable golf tournament and networking event on Sept. 9 benefiting the Summit County STEM program. For those in the know, STEM is an acronym representing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The tournament will be held at the Copper Creek Golf Course on Tuesday, Sept. 9. Teams of four will tee off in a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m. Entry includes green fee, cart fee, lunch and a baseline donation to the Summit County Schools STEM program. Mulligans and on-course games can be purchased for those looking to gain a competitive advantage and improve the value of the group’s overall donation. If you do not have a four-person team, don’t fret — you can be paired up with other teams in need of additional members. Team entries can be submitted online at scitpro.eventbrite.com. If you are interested in sponsoring a tee or donating prizes, please contact Rob Catalano at 970-390-4166. Breckenridge Grand Vacations has yet again generously donated a raffle Grand Prize of seven nights lodging in Orlando, Florida. Raffle tickets can be purchased now online at http://SCITPRO.eventbrite.com.
