Silverthorne man dies after colliding with tree on Keystone Resort run

A Silverthorne, Colorado man died of blunt force trauma at around 8 a.m. today after losing control on Spring Dipper, an intermediate run at Keystone Resort. The Summit County Coroner said in a press release that Eric Haiar collided with a tree. He was declared dead at St. Anthony’s Keystone Medical Clinic. Haiar was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Haiar was a resident of Silverthorne. He previously resided in Texas.
