EveryBelly Dancer’s second annual belly dance variety show and fundraiser for Advocates of Victims of Assault is fun for the whole family. The show is in two acts with an intermission.
Dancers will be dressed in a variety of Halloween costumes from a little scary to very funny. Performers are from all over the High Country including Fairplay, Alma, Eagle, Steamboat Springs, Kremmling, Silverthorne and Breckenridge.
The event will take place Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center (150 W. Adams Ave.). Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show stars at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for anyone over 10 years old. Cash only accepted. The Colorado Athletic Club raises funds for nonprofit Smile Train
On Sept. 28, the Colorado Athletic Club and member Scott Robey held a local Swim-A-Thon where proceeds benefitted cleft lip and palate charity Smile Train.
Robey is part of Smile Train’s IRONMAN Arizona team and will race in honor of the charity on Sunday, Nov. 17, in Tempe, Ariz.
To date Robey has raised more than $8,000 in total, including both personal fundraising and money raised through the Swim-A-Thon.
The Colorado Athletic Club will present Robey with a check from the Swim-A-Thon for over $3,500 for Smile Train on Oct. 24 at 5:30 p.m. at The Colorado Athletic Club Inverness (374 Inverness Parkway, Englewood).
