Frisco Turkey Day 5k
Frisco, Nov. 28
9:30 a.m., Old Frisco Community Center, 110 3rd Ave, Frisco. Start a new family tradition and join us for the Inaugural Turkey Day 5k in Frisco! We encourage you to come out and burn a few calories before celebrating with food, family and fun! This event is open to all ages and will take place on the Summit County Recreation Path and Town of Frisco side streets. We invite all racers to make a non-perishable food donation at the event which will benefit the Family & Intercultural Resource Center of Summit County. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Frisco Elementary’ s S.T.E.M. program. Portions of this course will not be plowed or shoveled; please plan accordingly.

Rotary Thanksgiving Dinner

Silverthorne Pavilion, Silverthorne. The Community Thanksgiving Dinner is a free meal provided by the Rotary Club of Summit County in conjunction with the Keystone Conference Center and the Silverthorne Pavilion. On Thanksgiving Day, from noon until 3 p.m., we serve over 350 traditional Thanksgiving dinners: Turkey and dressing, potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad and dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie.
Frisco tubing hill opens

The Frisco Adventure Park tubing hill is a great place for kids to be kids and adults to be kids again! The hill features lengthy 1200-foot tubing lanes with lift service up the hill for tubing day or night under the lights. With our evening hours of operation, you can enjoy an hour of tubing, have an adventure after a day of skiing, spend a full afternoon enjoying a beginner ski or snowboard lesson with an hour of tubing, or bring the whole family for a custom adventure!
Free community dinner
Breckenridge, Nov. 28
All are welcome to join the annual free community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 28th from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm at Mi Casa in Breckenridge. Mi Casa is located at 600 S. Park Avenue. Bring your family and loved ones and enjoy a meal graciously provided by many volunteers and supported and organized by St. John’s Episcopal Church, Father Dyer United Methodist Church, St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Breckenridge Restaurant community.
