On the Hill: Blasting groomers at Keystone on a t-shirt weather day

On the Hill, brought to you by The Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute, brings you a video report showcasing Summit County's ski conditions Wednesday through Sunday.

Keystone official report: 0" of new snow overnight, 1” in the last week, 63" season total

Explore Summit field report: With sunny skies, temperatures in the mid-40s and no new snow, it is a day to blast some groomers. Packed snow, should soften up as the day wears on. Night skiing opened over Thanksgiving week, and will be open every night from Dec. 20-Jan. 4 before going back to it's regular schedule.

Weather: 15 degrees at 9 a.m.

Liftline status: No line at 8:30 a.m.

Run of the day: Wild Irishman

Breakdown: Keystone is running 19 of 20 lifts, providing access to 77 runs and 1,610 skiable acres.

Snowcast: The NOAA is calling for partly sunny skies, with a high of 48 degrees by noon, with temperature falling to around 34 by 5 p.m. Breezy, with a west wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
