Congrats to a couple celebrating their wedding anniversary on Dec. 27: Dave and Carol Haddock of Breckenridge and Mandeville, La.

Spotted out skiing Copper were Dr. Norm and Renee Stoller, of Frisco, who already have a good jump on the season.

In town for a night and a day’s skiing was our son, Miles F. Porter V, and Julia Makowski, both ski patrollers at Monarch near Salida.

Coming by on their way from Delta to Denver were Spike!’s mom and sister, Medith L. Porter and Marsha Magill.

In some U.S. Postal Service news, we have a new postmaster in Frisco. It’s Jim Armstrong, who’s been around here for many years, most recently at the Breckenridge facility. Welcome.

He replaces Perry Fitzgibbon, who returned to Ohio when his house there did not sell. Perry says hello to all and Merry Christmas from Newcomerstown.
