9 a.m., Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle, Copper Mountain. Get your festive on with the Twelve Days of Copper. Torchlight parades for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, fireworks, fire dancers, rail jams and more.

Canvas Painting Party

Frisco, Dec. 30

7:30 p.m., Frisco Adventure Park, 621 Recreation Way, Frisco. Let the artist in you come to life and enjoy an evening painting at the Frisco Day Lodge! You don’t consider yourself an artist? This class is open to all abilities; our instructor, Sheila Trowbridge, will guide the class step-by-step to paint a canvas. You’ll be amazed at how simple it is to do following minimal instruction and you’ll have a new piece of art to take home with you! This class is open to the first 35 to register; open to ages 12 and up.

3 p.m., The Last Lift Bar, 1195 Keystone Rd., Keystone. Interactive-acoustic, say yes to fun after skiing = oiu-apres ski.

9:30 p.m., Snake River Saloon, 23074 Hwy 6, Dillon. Live on stage at 9:30 p.m. Classic Arena Rock Sounds along with some modern country hits, great to party and dance to.

The Whiskey Richards

Frisco, Dec. 30

9 p.m., The Barkley Ballroom, 610 Main Street, Frisco. The Whiskey Richards is Summit County’s best party band. Expect funky fresh originals along with hot jam covers of Eric Clapton, Dispatch, and Afroman (to name a few). Free show at 9 p.m.
