9 a.m., Copper Mountain Resort, 209 Ten Mile Circle, Copper Mountain. Get your festive on with the Twelve Days of Copper. Torchlight parades for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, fireworks, fire dancers, rail jams and more.

5 p.m., Kirby Cosmo’s BBQ Bar, 474 Main St., Minturn. Adult buffet for $10, kids eat free! Silly games, hats and horns, and a special ‘ball drop’ at 9 p.m. Join in the family fun!

Inaugural Frisco Randocross

3:30 p.m., Frisco Adventure Park, 621 Recreation Way, Frisco. What’s Randocross you ask? A technical (fun) ski mountaineering course with multiple boot packs, winding skin tracks in the trees and two short GS runs per lap; all under the lights at the Frisco Adventure Park.
