The class is free and is sponsored by the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority and put on by the Summit Combined Housing Authority with help from local volunteers, who will walk you through the lending process, real estate transaction, title company portion and home inspection. There will also be information on current down-payment assistance programs and much more. Snacks will be provided. Seminar on digital photography
This two-part seminar will address the basics of digital photography, from downloading pictures from your camera to your computer, to organizing and naming them, to making some basic (but important) enhancements to them and even showing them as slide shows on your computer or HDTV. Bring your cameras and computers to work along with us, if you wish. At a pace that all can handle, we’ll demonstrate the techniques using a computer running Windows 7 along with the free photo software package Windows Photo Gallery. The seminar is scheduled for the two Saturdays of May 11 and May 25 from 9-11 a.m. at the Senior Center in Frisco. The cost for each session is $5 (and you can attend one or both sessions). Each session is limited to 25, so please call the Senior Center to pre-register, (970) 668-2940. Walk-ins will need to be turned away if the class limit is reached on the day of the seminar.
