Brain-injury support group
Please join us on Thursday at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, in the cafe on the first floor, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. We will be having guest speakers Dr. Penny Montgomery and Dr. Glenda Lippmann, from New Hope for the Brain, who will be presenting “Learning About Brain Wave Evaluations and Training after a Brain Injury.” They will review how psychological support to both clients and families can help. In addition, you can learn how optimal brain function is needed along with cognitive and emotional support. This support group is for all brain-injury survivors, their supporters and friends and meets the fourth Thursday of every month. Please join us! For more information, please contact Kim Ramey, director of PT/OT/ST, at (970) 668-6980 in the therapy department at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center/Avalanche PT and Sports Rehabilitation.
