33rd annual Breckenridge
Festival of Film
The 33rd annual Breckenridge Festival of Film, the longest-running film festival in Colorado, has extended its submissions deadline to Saturday.
Submissions guidelines for traditional independent films in the comedy, short comedy, drama, short drama, documentary and spiritual categories are available at www.withoutabox.com using a filmmaker account. Submission fees apply. The festival is introducing the Adventure Film track, which is slated for an outdoor venue. Inspired and fulfilled by the festival’s creative — and active — Colorado audience, the Adventure Film track is meant to encourage creativity to flow as interested filmmakers compete for the People’s Choice award in adventure shorts and participate in associated panel discussions. The adventure category has smaller fees and a later deadline. To be considered, films submitted to this category should be 2-10 minutes long, should be posted privately to YouTube, and the link should be shared with email@example.com with the subject: Adventure Track Submission. The deadline for these films is July 15, and fees are as follows: $15 through June 15; $25 June 16-July 15. We will notify filmmakers by July 25 and will request a high resolution digital format within two weeks of notification. Tickets and passes are on sale now at www.breck filmfest.com. Visit the www.breckfilm fest.com to learn more about information on activity and lodging options, as well as volunteer opportunities. For more information about the festival, or to learn about the Adventure Film contest, visit www.breckfilmfest.com or contact Janice Kurbjun at firstname.lastname@example.org.
