The July 20 event begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $60/person and $600 for a table of 10. This is the fourth year that the NRO has presented “Dancing on the Peaks,” which promises to be a rip-roaring good time. There will be a buffet and open bar, as well as a dance floor and dance lessons. NRO musicians will serenade the audience with Big Band-era favorites. For the first time, dinner and dancing will be accompanied by a silent auction. NRO conductor Carl Topilow will also present a live auction for two aspiring conductors to jump onstage and lead the orchestra. For those too shy to conduct the orchestra, the silent auction will have plenty of incredible items, such as ski passes from Vail Resorts, a ski pass from Arapahoe Basin, golf at Keystone River and Ranch courses and a culinary class form Colorado Mountain College. For ticket information and purchase, please call the NRO at (970) 453-5825. Ticket purchases may also be made online by visiting www.NROmusic.com.
