Arapahoe Basin Ski Area to extend season with bonus weekend
Arapahoe Basin Ski Area announced Tuesday it will extend its season for one weekend with a new closing date of June 11. The ski area will operate with normal skier services seven days a week through Sunday, June 4, before closing services on Monday, June 5. It will then re-open for lift-served access on Friday, June 9, closing for the season on Sunday, June 11. A-Basin was initially planning to close on June 4.

A storm on Thursday, May 18, brought nearly 20 inches in a day to the ski area. The ski area has reported 5 inches in the last 24 hours, and 9 inches in the last three days.
