Bomber launches boardercross website

Silverthorne’s Bomber Industries recently launched www.bomberbx.com, a home for boardercross riders who are looking for information on products, events and other riders, as well as a place to purchase gear.
“We see this a lot. BX riders have no place – either virtual or in person – to not just get gear but any information about boardercross,” said Fin Doyle, owner of Bomber Industries. “Parents buy gear blindly from Europe just to get their kids on something so they can race, and they know nothing about the sport. This website will give parents and other BX riders a place to get and give info, as well as buy gear all in one spot.
“Bomber Industries sees this as a very viable website with a lot of growth potential. We plan to have articles written by BX experts and riders, as well as links to other sites that are affiliated with BX. This could be a huge boost to the industry.”
The website includes a forum, where riders and vendors can talk about products, races, technique and anything else BX related they would like to chat about online. It will also feature events submitted by organizations around the world and technical videos for gear setup. The site will have an online store, where riders can buy BX-specific gear.
“We’ve had a very strong following and success with other ventures we’ve taken on, and we definitely see boardercross as an intensely growing sport that needs this kind of recognition,” Doyle said. “Bomberbx.com will help the sport grow and gain not only the attention it deserves but will help the customers make informed decisions.”
Bomber Industries has been in business since 1993, manufacturing bindings for snowboard hard boots, splitboard, telemark and skiboard worlds.
