Briggs: Can’t have it both ways
Ryan Summerlin November 5, 2012
Peggy Long and Kevin Mastin, you can’t have it both ways.
It’s hypocritical to accuse the county commissioners of partisanship when our current District Attorney, Mark Hurlbert, takes over the chairmanship of a floundering Tea-Party dominated Summit County Republican Party just a month ago and uses both positions to endorse Scott Turner, his deputy DA.
We’ll soon see if voters lend much credence the victim conversations you and your fellow Republicans have been having on these pages.
Most will be voting to elect Bruce Brown as our next district attorney and re-elect Karn Stiegelmeier as our county commissioner simply because these candidates are far more in touch with the values our community holds dear.
