A: Neuberger’s Hockey Shop is a family owned hockey retail store, specializing in new and used hockey equipment for all ages and levels of play. We give the community a strong selection of equipment from the most affordable end of the spectrum all the way to the highest end and newest product on the market. We also sell slightly used equipment and offer inexpensive skate sharpenin. We also offer a consignment/buy option for that slightly used equipment you have no need for anymore.

A: Neuberger’s Hockey Shop is owned by two small town Midwest hockey brothers, Rustin and Joshua. Originally from the small town of Somerset, Wisc., we decided to venture out and find a place to make our homes away from home. It was clear that Summit County was the best choice. A great supporting community, with a small town atmosphere, just minutes away from the big city of Denver, reminded us of our distant home. The community also seems very family oriented, with a sense of trust and acceptance in the air, that gives off a feeling of belonging.

A: Playing hockey our whole lives is the most important factor. Knowing the sport and how it changes lets us adjust to the growing needs of the hockey players. It is obvious that buying a product online is the most convenient thing these days, and we offer that service, but being available for the customer for the customer who wants to learn the most about the sport, or how to get the equipment that fits their best needs, is the experience we would like to give them.

A: Our variety in prices and selection. Also, we want to be known as a “family shop” with a personal atmosphere when people come to visit our shop. Helping out all the hockey families in the community, and watching those players grow from the youngest of mites to the oldest of adult leagues. Having a customer walk into the shop and knowing what their needs are from past encounters is the most rewarding thing for us.

A: Focusing solely on hockey, we aim to reach out to anyone playing hockey in the Summit County community and see if there is any way we can help out with their hockey needs. We are focused on becoming big high school hockey and U19 team supporters, as well as the rest of the youth hockey association.

A: We like the town’s unique business atmosphere. The majority of businesses in Breckenridge are all independently unique, like ours, giving that small town look. We also wanted to be close to the Ice rink, where are customers would use our product.

A: We just want to establish a great relationship with Summit County. Provide the best possible customer service, affordable pricing and great community support. If at the end of the day we can see those things through, we would feel like we helped out the community grow a little stronger.
