Breckenridge real estate group merges with Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty

A Front Range real estate company has brought a local company into its fold.
Ten Peaks Sotheby's International Realty in Breckenridge will now conduct business as a branch of Fuller Sotheby's International Realty (FSIR). Ten Peaks was awarded the Sotheby's affiliation in March 2007.
This acquisition creates the 10th Fuller Sotheby's office in Colorado. The company recently opened offices in Vail and Edwards as well.
Amy Hill, public relations director for FSIR, said the Breckenridge office will now be able to access the Fuller's in-house marketing department, its established web presence and networking opportunities.
"Ten Peaks had a presence that was already solidified in the area," she said. "We want to gain an edge against competitors and grow."
The company will have a new managing broker, Dan Fitchett, who also oversees the Edwards FSIR office. Fitchett said establishing these new branches demonstrates the company's commitment to mountain properties in Summit and Eagle counties.
"Our expansion allows us to provide unparalleled service and expertise to clientele along the I-70 corridor while maximizing our Front Range connections," he said in a prepared statement.
Fuller Sotheby's conducts sales and purchases of luxury residences throughout Colorado. Previous Ten Peaks owners Scott and Lori Mitchell will still serve Breckenridge as part of the business. Hill said the partnership could help bring more metro clients to Summit County.
A large percentage of FSIR metro Denver clients and referrals from Sotheby's global network are second-home buyers. Securing a location in Breckenridge provides necessary resort market expertise to a wide range of buyers and sellers, Hill said.
"Our concentrated effort to effectively penetrate the Summit County housing market and increase market share is coupled with attracting the talent and expertise of the Ten Peaks Sotheby's International Realty brokers," said Scott Webber, FSIR president, in a statement.
Hill said Fuller Sotheby's has been working with Ten Peaks for the last six months, and the change made for a "natural progression."
