Colorado Springs police have arrested one of two persons of interest in the investigation of the murder of Colorado prisons chief Tom Clements.
James Franklin Lohr, 47, was arrested in the early morning hours of Friday, said Lt. Jeff Kramer, spokesman for the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
“He’s now in our custody,” Kramer said.
Lohr, who had three outstanding Colorado warrants in cases not related to Clements murder, was spotted by officers about 1:30 a.m. Friday leaving a business on Platte Avenue east of Union Boulevard, according to the sheriff’s office.
